Back of The North Wind came from two inspirations. Almost 20 years ago a friend gave me the line as a song writing challenge and it didn't take, until just a few years ago when I used the line in my novel, "Autumn's On Its Way." It was immediately after I used the line that the song came to be, the music falling into place right away.
